Paid in Full: Copyright, piracy and the real currency of cultural production is an article where artist and writer Armin Medosch explains his position and concerns in the copyright-copyleft discussion.

In this article Medosch first recaps his own esperiences as media artist, curator and activist in order to position himself within the actual debate. His main argument is that radical postures on both sides of the copyleft/copyright discussion only further deteriorate the situation for cultural workers. He goes on explaining his own professional situation and ends with a claim for a creative solution for remuneration for cultural production of high quality within the given situation.
An important issue that Medosch discusses (but does not resolve conclusively) is the one of what other currencies, a part from the monetary one, are involved and actually available for authors in the copyleft-deal.
